#8 Make yourself up

Mayu

Hi!!

Do you like make-up?
Hmm? I can hear you say " no, for it's troublesome!"
...No, it's not troublesome, but fan!

I love make-up, because I can be anything I want by just casting spell called " make-up"!!
You can be 50's Pin-up girl, 60's cute girl, or even Michael Jackson by the "spell"!!! haha!

Now, I'm interested in French Pop ( is songs in France in 60's), so I am going to introduce you
How to become 60's inspired girl by make-up! x-)

This is my favourite French pop " Baby love" which is originally from "Baby love" by Supremes!
what a cute and catchy song, isn't it!?

First, apply light tone foundation on your face.
Next, paint brown eye shadow on your eye crease and eyelid to make your eye look bigger and impressive.

After making carving on your eyelid, use black gel eyeliner around your eye ( including bottom of your lashes). If you want, add lower lashes by writing.
Here is my eyes... : P

Then, don't forget to write thick lines and go up on your corner of the eyes.
Next, lift your lashes up with curler and apply mascara. After that, add bolume false lashes.
Finally, apply pink cream cheek on your cheek roundly and use pink lip stick on your mouth!!!
That's it!!
This is my complete look with DOYA gao... :P Though it is blushing but I'll show you x)

In 60's make-up, we should emphasize eyes strongly with thick eyelines and false lashes. So, to keep the balance of entire face, we apply mild color on cheeks and lip.( beige pink is the best).
If you are interested in this make-up, please try and show me xD
I hope you like it!!!

#7 My memory of Kouchi

Mayu
Hi,there!
During summer vacation, I know lots of people went to various gorgeous places such as south islands, Europe, America and Canada.
But, of cource, me too, I went to Kouchi Prefecture to visit the grave... : P
Yes, I had really fantastic time, because my family firstly went to Hiroshima with airplane and went to Ehime with BICYCLE!!!
To ride bicycle looking through Setonaikai was really nice... this kind of ocean is so quiet and peaceful.

this day, we stayed a hotel in Hakata island, and next day, we went to Shikoku with ferryboat. After arriving Ehime prefecture, we watched Imabari catsle. Here is the funny pic of  the catsle with me...lol

mfff... this makes you laugh, doesn't it?

After this, we caught a train and arrived Kouchi prefecture.
The most impressive view was Muroto cape and this little bit harsh but beautiful wide ocean reminded me of  Ryoma Sakamoto's mind... So I sang Japanese Soul music riding on this black rocks... lol

My trip to Kouchi was nothing but simple one, however I could touch the beautiful nature which heal our tired heart.Look up this heavenly sky!!!!!

By the way, I want to talk about my memory of sky and my grand mother's passing in 2007.

Whenever the hot summer comes to Japan, it always reminds me of  plane for Kouchi. My family and I were on our way to there because my grand mother passed away in the year and we had to attend funeral. It had happened really fast, so I couldn't have believed my favorite grand mother had graduated her life.

At that time, we took airplane and  I saw amazingly beautiful sky above clouds from the window ( that sky was so close to this pic above).Clouds like cotton candy spread under my eyes as though they are grassland in Heaven, and a long straight vapor trail stretched out toward shining sun.
Then, I felt she must go to Heaven like magic land of Oz through this stairway made of vapor trail.

This stairway was prepared just for her!!!

When I imagined that, I felt a little released from the sorrowness.
Above clouds, there is no artificial beauty such as a night view of skycraper in city... It is above clouds that even human who have changed scenes of nature on the Earth couldn't touch at all.

In short, my sad circumstances mixed into that beautiful and sacred sky, so that I feel painful but sweet emotion whenever I get onto airplane for Kouchi in summer.
I hope my grand mother reached Heaven safely through that stairway!

So.... please visit Kouchi prefecture as a trip!! lol

Blog#8: My favorite sweets!

Ami

Hello!
Today, I introduce my favorite sweets!
Do you know it?
It is a hawaiian sweets named "acai bowl". Acai is a fruit which color is violet and has high nutrition. It is also said to be good for beauty. So loved by women all over the world. Acai bowl is acai sorbet with many fruits, forexample, banana, strawberry and blue berry. It taste sweet and sour. There are also cereal in the bowl, so we can enjoy both soft and hard touch. I feel like to eat it especially in hot summer.
I eat it everyday when I visit hawaii. But I found it at an fashionable hawaiian restaurant in Ebisu:-)
The name is "Aloha table". The same restaurant may be in Ikabukuro and Shinjyuku.

There are two size, regular and large. The picture is large size. This time, I divided it with my mother. But I thought I could eat it all by myself;-)
The size is smaller than that of Hawaii, but it tastes really good!

If you visit Hawaii or find an Hawaiian restaurant, please find and try it!
I'm sure you will like it!!

#8 Saipan!

Yui

From September 10th to 13th, I went to Saipan with my friends :) Therefore, I will tell you about my trip.

After working in Mcdonald, I packed my luggage and I met my friend in Musashiurawa station. And then, we went to the Narita Airport and met another friend at 6`o clock.

At 0`oclock, we arrived at Saipan international airport and went to the Hafadai beach hotel. As soon as we arrived, we went to sleep.

The next day, surprisingly, we woke up at 12`o clock!! After we took shower, we went to shopping to Gallaria and ABC store. I bought many souveniours and snacks such as Doritos of Na
cho cheese taste. It is very delicious!

Then, we went to the sea which is very near from our Hotel!

It was very beautiful and we could see the bottom of the sea because of the clarity of the sea water.Due to the enjoyment in the sea and pool, we were starving. So we went to the Hard Rock Cafe!

We ate ceaser salad, ice cream, and BBQ rib!

Additionally, we listened to the singer`s song such as Beatles or Sazan!

He spoke and sang very fluent Japanese. So we were surprisd very much. Additionally, we sang the song pf  サザンオールスターズ together.

The next day, we went to Managaha island! Do you know that island?

How beutiful it is! In this island, we did three marin acitvity; banana boat, paraceiling and sea walker. However, before the sea walker there was a big storm and tornado near the island.
Have you ever seen this tornado? I was very surprised and very afraid!! Fortunately, it was disappeared suddenly, so we could do the all activity.

It is paraceiling! I saw the fantasutic scenery from the sky><  During I stayed in the sky, I felt like flying.

Then we did sea walker.
I saw a lot of fish, and clownfish! Maybe you can understand if I say NEMO instead of clownfish. The guide gave us some food for fish, however I couldn`t do it because I have been very afraid of fish. The reason is when I was a kindergarten studebnt, every year, we had to swim in the pool with fish!!You know small boys and girls ran around, therefore some fish died in the pool by stepped by them. From the time which I saw the deadof fish, I had trauma about fish.If I have a chance to do it again, I hope to be able to give food for fish.

It is my trip!! How about going to Saipan?

Blog#7: My summer!

Ami
Hello!
Today is the last day of August! It's very fast, isn't it?
How do you spend this summer vacation?
I enjoy "summer" this year!
I introduce a part of my summer vacation.
1. Shaved ice
I like shaved ice very much, but this one is the best in what I ate before.
This is green tea fraver with bean paste. It uses natural ice, so the shaved ice is very soft!
You can eat it at Nagatoro in Saitama. But queue for at least 30 minute! Almost all visitors seem to try eating it.
2. sea bathing
This summer, I went swimming for three times in Enoshima, Atami and Onjyuku!
I don't want to catch the sun, but blue sea and clear sky make me exciting!
This scenery makes me feel summer. I enjoyed hot brilliant summer:-)
3. fire workes
Because of the influence of earthquake, many fireworkes were called off. Despite this sad news, I could enjoy two big fire workes contests at Atami and Sumidagawa.
I could watch fire workes above ocean at Atami. This coexistance was really beautiful!
At Sumidagawa, there were many many people! So, I couldn't sit down, but the number of fire workes are also great!
How was my summer? Let's enjoy the rest of the vacation!:-)

#6 OMG!!!OMJ!!!

Mayu

Hello!
What day was it yesterdayーAugust 29th ?
Was it just " the day of Yakiniku" ? ...No!
It was the birthday of King Of Pop, Michael Jackson!!! He was famous singer, dancer and composer in America that have ever lived, and was legendary for the honor but tragical for the honor.
Actually, I would like to talk about his history and his life from various aspects: as a greatest artist, as a man , as a human and as a father. But I found this took so long time to explain and it was impossible to sum up his complicated life and his unbelievable magical power to attract people all around the world ( I always lost for words to show how he was fantastic artist and cool man. That is Speechless!).

So, I am going to talk about only about his groovy music : )
His music is categolized as mainly "Soul music", but sometimes his one could be "Rock and Pop music" and "R&B music". His music is dancable and catchy to make everyone excited, so I think his music is like Disney Land!!!!
If you had opportunity to listen to his music, you might be surprized how beautiful and sensitive his voices are! His one is so changeable!! For exsample, he could control his voice from low like a guy to high like a girl ( He could raise about 3 octave even with dancing!!!), from soft like a cotton candy to strong like a thunder!!
In addition, he had been singing for 45 years (since he was only 5 years old!) , so you can enjoy the various kinds of his voices as his life goes by. This also means you can enjoy 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's music just by listen to his songs, because he always reflected the supreme sound of each times, though he was famous for mainly 80's music!!
I love his beautiful voices like a sensitive kaleidoscope and his unforgettable music... x )

If you want to be encouraged by inoccent and cheerful voice and by cute 60's music, then, listen to Jackson 5! ( " I Want You Back" in 1969)

If you feel like steaping yourself in memory of your student times and enjoy 70's music, then you should listen to Jacksons! ( the pics on this movie are not always 70's Michael though) (" Oneday In Your Life" in 1975)

Now you maybe need 70's disco music to warm your body up again, because I guess "Oneday in Your Life" touched the cord of your heart deep inside and made you Shinmiri... ; ) In my cace, I always recollect sky above clouds that I saw in airplane in summer in 2007... :) Anyway, In this video, Young and energizing Michael sings the song with plenty of hope and fresh power! (" Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" in 1979)

If you heard " Michael Jackson", it reminds you of that song, "Thriller"!!!!!! But, I chose you another 80's Michael's song daringly..."Smooth Criminal" in 1987 This short film is so high-qualitied and shows Michael's ultimate aesthetics!

After watching this video, you should still be blown your mind with this 90's cool song, "Jam" in 1991!!
In this video, he plays Basket ball with Michael Jordan!!!

Now you look so tired to watch such a lot of powerful music videos ...lol
Then you need to take a rest to listen to 00's music! In 00's, Michael already had 3 children and became a father, so that you can feel his presence as a mature adult and sorrowfulness as a man suffering many hardships!

He went to Heaven about 2 years ago, but his songs filled with his lots of feelings such as love, hope, anguish and sorrow still make us so impressed. He will live forever through his music!!
Here is words that he said for us;" Music has been my outlet, my gift to all of the lovers in this world. Through it, I know I will live forever."

#7 Tokyo Disney resort.

#7
Yui

Have you ever visited Tokyo Disney Resort?

I suppose almost everyone have been there. Last month, I bought the two parks annual passport, so today I will introduce you some remarkable points.

1. Mickey`s Philhar magic in Tokyo disney land.

This attraction opened on last january. I saw this in Walt Disney World in the United states. This attraction is the 3D  and my best  favourite character  "Donald Duck" is the hero. He  gets into mischief , then he traveled the famous Disney movie; "Beauty and the Beast”, "Little Mermaid," "Fantasia," "Lion King," " Peter Pan,and " Aladdin."  You can see some famous scenes, and music; "Be our guest," "Part of your world," " I just Can`t wait to be King," "You can fly," and " A whole new world." I think this attraction includes the all charms of Disney; therefore I reccomend you ride this attraction.

2. Cinderella`s fairy tale hall in Tokyo disney land.

This attraction is the newest one in Tokyo Disney Land. You may speculate from the name, It locates in the cinderella`s castle and you can see the story and after story about "Cinderella."

For example,

Moreover, this movie will make you surprised!:)
And you can try on cinderella`s shoes:)

I think you had better go there during the Halloween`s time because you can disguise as Disney`s character.
It means if you wanna feel like Cinderella, you can go there with Cinderella`s costume and put on glass shoes.

3. Electrical Parade in Disney Land.

When I first saw it, I was amazed! From Oriental Company, they made this with lots of high technology.

Due to the big earthquake in Japan, around Tokyo disney resort had huge impact. To add of this, Disney land cannot open for several months. This summer we can go there cheaper tha usual by using the campus day passport. When you go there, please ride or watch these three good shows.

Blog#6: Where is it?

Ami

Hello! Can you guess where I am in this picture?
Actually, I am on the top of Mt.Fuji!!! We are on the highest point in Japan!!!!
We started to climb the mountain at 11:00 p.m. on August 11 and got to the top at 5:00 a.m. on the next day. It was really hard!!
At first, we could enjoy the scenery, forexample, a beautiful starry sky! But I exhausted soon.
Despite this is summer, the upward of the mountain is very cold like winter. The climate and strong wind robbed my force.  I was going to resignate the climbing many times.
But thanks for my friends's helping, I could see sunrise at the top. It was really really beautiful!!!:-)
I was moved and my tiredness went away! Mountain climbing is really hard but I could touch human kindness. So if you have a chance, I recommend you to try!

YUI

Today, I will show you my comitee.  Have you ever seen this windbreaker?

This is our symbol, every students who belong to the comitee can get it and decide your uniform number. On the beginning of the new semester, we work as a welcoming staff, and then we work as the comittee of creating Gakushuin University.
If you enter this comitee, you have to choose your bureau.

1.facility bureau.
This bureau needs strong and passionate men, because they treat wood, tent, weight, and also they manage PA which is the device of music because some music or dance clubs use it when they do their perfomance in big stage. As I said before, this bureau members are all men. However they also need strong women, too. If you are interested in PA or tent, you had better become a member of it.
.

2.publication bureau

Maybe you can imagine their work from their bureau name. They make our school festival`s pamphlet and "REIMEI." And also, during the festivals, they manage bicycle trailers. If you join this bureau, you can make the pamphlet which is read by all people who come to the festival.

3.General affairs bureau.

I belong to this bureau:) We are busy through the year because we have lots of work. From april to august, we are divided into three parts; making profile, plannning summer and welcoming cap, and  designing windbreaker.
Then, during the festival, we have three works; catering, controlling the entry of cars, and making onigiri! Do you know what the meaning of  "catering?" Every festivals, we invite famous artist or comedian. Our work is to take care of them; preparing drinks, setting the stage or private room.
As I mentioned before, we make onigiri every morning for our exausted member.
Addintionally, we make the signboard and printing every time the general meeting.

4.article bureau
I`m sorry, I cannot find their picture. ;(

They are so close friends and there are many beautiful girls and boys:)
They treat beer or soft drink, gas cooker, and hold a bazaar. Maybe they are very busy durng the festival.

5.planning bureau

They are divided into seven parts;plannng concert, lecture meeting by famous people, the festival of  the eve, the first day,  the middle day, and the last day, and the exihibition. If you become the person who plan concert or lecture meeting , you can choose and decide who will come to our festival.  For example, last year, Aoyama Teruma (famous singer) and Suzuki Osamu. I know this year`s artist but I cannot tell you, so please wait few weeks.

6.public relationship bureau

The last bureau is public relarionship bureau. They have a lot of work such as making blog, homepage, recording and uploading radio, distribute handbills about our festival, making the pet bottle art, the temple for the candidate for examination, and PR to encourage our featival. This bureau began only two years ago; therefore, you can do whatever you want to heap the festival up.

From my blog, you can understand our circle><
We hope the success of Gakushuin University festival and everyone enjoy it. Therefore, please lead to success together.

Blog #4: Peter Pan!

Yui Ushijima

Have you ever seen the movie of  Peter pan?
Maybe you imagine one that  is created by Walt Disney Company.
However, I will recommend you the other movie.
The songs and every scene are so beautiful.
Too add of it, it contains peter and wendy`s love emotion., so after you watch it, you remember your first love. Other difference between this movie and Disney one is pirates. They are more barbarous and savage. And amazingly, Captain Hook fly during the fight with Peter Pan!I receive the hope that not only children can fly from this scene.

If you fall in love with certain guy who lives far from your hometown, what will you do?
You can see Wendy`s decision in this movie.

Blog #3: My hobby

Ami

Hi! It was hot day! Summer will come soon:-)
This time, I'd like to introduce my hobby-Hula Dance. Do you know Hula Dance?
It's a Hawaiian racial dance moving with slow music.
When I watched a movie named "Hula Girl" I was fascinated with it. This movie is non-fiction story of Jyouban Hawaiian Center in Iwate. The cute costume, the cheerful looking and the confortable music attracted me very much! It is hart warming story, so if you haven't seen the movie, please check it!
I started to take Hula lesson last summer. While I'm dancing, I can relax very much. I can be smile naturally.
Actually, every movement have each meaning. Hula dancers express the music by dance. It is very interesting! You can guess what the dance means.
I already experienced perform on stage twice. I was very nervous, but also enjoyed very much.
I want to continue practicing Hula until I become old.
Here is my favorite doll! She is cute isn't she??:-)
